This show is dedicated to Pandeiros and their roots, of the peoples of the Mediterranean and their developments in Brazil and Latin America. The leather tambourines used in choro, nylon tambourines used in samba, the tambourines used in the Maranhão ox or the square tambourine used in the Catopê de Minas, together with their relatives on the other side of the ocean, the tamburello of the Italian tarantella, Turkish Tar , Persian Daf, Arab Rig and Moroccan Bendir, among others, bring many languages and cultural experiences of their peoples, translated into different interpretation techniques, in instruments that, in their structure, are similar.
