Miguel Siso, Latin Grammy-Winner als Künstler und Produzent in der Kategorie „Bestes Instrumentalalbum 2018“ für sein Album „Identidad“, begann seine Karriere in seinem Heimatland Venezuela. Derzeit gilt er als einer der wichtigsten Musiker des venezolanischen „Cuatro“-Gitarre". Mit „Identidad“ präsentierte Miguel zum ersten Mal ein einzigartiges Instrument namens „El cuatro triple“, das aus einem Cuatro mit dreifachem Hals besteht, das vom Gitarrenbauer Alfonso Sandoval hergestellt wurde. Miguel wurde mit der Musik dieses Albums außerdem achtmal für die „Pepsi Music Awards“ nominiert und gewann vier Preise als Bester Jazzkünstler, Bester Weltmusiksong mit „Kerepakupai Vená“, Bestes Jazzvideo und Bester Jazzsong mit „Tiempo de Cambio“. Danach wurde er vom irischen Präsidenten ins Präsidentenhaus eingeladen.

2007 gewann er den ersten Platz bei „La Siembra del Cuatro“, der wichtigsten Auszeichnung für Cuatro-Solisten in Venezuela.für seine herausragende Darbietung mit seinem Instrument. In den letzten Jahren ist Miguel mit seinem Cuatro um die Welt gereist und seine Musik wurde in den USA, Kanada, China, den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, Frankreich, Spanien, Belgien, Deutschland, den Niederlanden, der Türkei, Irland, Katar, Indien, Guatemala, El Salvador, Bolivien, Uruguay, Kuba, Kolumbien, Ecuador, Guyana, Luxemburg, St. Lucia und Venezuela gespielt.

After that he was invited to the presidential house by the president of Ireland

In 2007 his prominent performance with the cuatro (Venezuelan National Instrument) resulted in him winning the first place in “La Siembra del Cuatro”, the most important award for the soloist cuatro players in Venezuela.
