Im Jahr 2017 initiierte Glem in seinem kontinuierlichen Bemühen, das Cuatro der Welt vorzustellen, eine Bewegung namens #4CuatroMusic über soziale Medien, die in nur 3 Wochen mehr als 1.000 Posts erreichte. Es ist offensichtlich, dass das Cuatro für dieses musikalische Wunderkind mehr als nur ein Instrument ist. Darüber hinaus hat er ein einzigartiges Duo-Projekt mit dem kubanisch-venezolanischen Pianisten, Komponisten und Arrangeur Cesar Orozco, mit dem er 2019 das preisgekrönte Album „Stringwise“ veröffentlichte. Glem hat an über 200 Produktionen teilgenommen und tourt weiterhin durch die USA, Lateinamerika und Europa und freut sich auf viele weitere Kollaborationen mit dem legendären venezolanischen Cuatro.

Latin Grammy Award-winning and Grammy nominated cuatro player, mandolinist and musical producer, Jorge Glem is without a doubt one of Venezuela’s musical treasures. Raised in Cumaná, Venezuela, Glem, who currently resides in the U.S., has set out with a clear and driven purpose of presenting the Venezuelan cuatro as a universal instrument. His amazing talent and driven purpose have bestowed on him the opportunity of performing solo concertos for cuatro with acclaimed conductor, Gustavo Dudamel and the prestigious LA Philharmonic, SF Symphony, as well as the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, with whom he performed recently at the Edinburgh International Festival. Jorge Glem is a founding member of the acclaimed ensemble C4 Trio, who won a Latin Grammy for their album "Tiempo al Tiempo," with renowned salsa artist Luis Enrique. Along with this second Latin Grammy win, this dynamic ensemble has been nominated four previous times for this award and has been nominated on two occasions to the prestigious Grammy presented by The Recording Academy.

Jorge Glem has also been the winner of prestigious awards such as "El Silbón de Oro," "Siembra Del Cuatro," and three Pepsi music awards for his album “En El Cerrito.” With three productions of his own, Glem is currently participating in collaborations with folk accordionist Sam Reider, with whom he recently received a Latin Grammy nomination for their album, “Brooklyn-Cumaná"in the Best Instrumental Album category. Additionally, he has a unique duo project with Cuban-Venezuelan pianist, composer, and arranger, Cesar Orozco with whom, in 2019, he released the award-winning album “Stringwise.”
